Dietary & Nutritional Counseling
Healthy Nutrition for Healthy Living
All people hold a deep, personal connection to food; eating with loved ones, cultural dishes, routine, and celebrations. Nutrition is a fundamental part of health and well-being. The personal and emotional connections we have to the foods we eat is why changes to the ways we eat can be challenging, even when medically necessary.
Clinical dietary and nutritional counseling is centered around creating a food plan that supports a healthy life. Naturopathic medicine promotes the use of healing foods because our diet is one of the most important and lifelong ways we can manage our well-being.
I encourage all people who work with me to have a well-balanced diet that is easy to start and maintain. Together we will learn about your diet, your goals, foods you enjoy, your eating habits, identify ways to improve your diet and succeed at maintaining a healthy routine around food that is attainable, fun, flexible, open to new things, and most of all balanced and healing.
